Why use this product?

Exfoliation is an absolute must to any skincare routine, to remove the dead skin cells that prevent the skincare absorbing properly and to prevent your skin from looking dull, dry and dehydrated. Exfoliated skin is beautiful skin. It’s required for ALL skin types.

This enzyme-based exfoliator will gently and effectively exfoliate your skin without any pulling or tugging at pores that happens when you use a scrub-based exfoliator – they are just old skincare technology and aren’t great for your skin. They can actually create micro cuts on your skin, which lets in bacteria and it can tear at your pores, which makes pores larger, and once they’re larger they (gasp) *never reduce again* (true story!)

Enzyme-based exfoliators are way more gentle on the skin, are more effective and feel nicer to use! The AHA style (Alpha Hydroxy Acids & BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids) exfoliators are always going to be better on the skin overall.

How to use this product:

The AHA + BHA Exfoliator should preferably be used after cleansing the skin in the evening. To do this, spread generously over the face and neck avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5-15 minutes. Massage in briefly using damp fingertips and remove excess with a mask sponge and plenty of lukewarm water. Then follow up with the night cream.

Use once to three times per week, depending upon your skin’s needs.

This Exfoliator can be used to effectively dissolve and remove the uppermost skin cell layers. This is carried out in a particularly gentle manner without using abrasive scrubs.
